The Movement for Black Lives is gaining long overdue momentum in predominantly white communities. We are on the cusp of real systemic change and we need to keep that momentum going.

Please join me for A WALK TO END WHITE SILENCE on Sunday, June 14th, starting at the BFA parking lot in Fairfax. We'll walk down Hunt St to Main St and turn around at Summit St, following the sidewalks and maintaining physical distancing. Please wear a mask and bring a sign. I'll have my toddler in a stroller with me - kids are welcome.

I've scheduled this at a time that hopefully won't conflict with events coordinated by black-led organizations, and I encourage you to participate IN ADDITION to taking action requested by black-led organizations. I also ask that every non-black participant make a donation to a black-led racial justice organization, bail-out fund or individual of your choice.
