Together apart, 2020 Grounded Balloon Festival
Since the annual Balloon Festival is grounded this year due to Covid19, some local members of the community came up with a great idea! Working with the Cambridge Valley Chamber of Commerce, they are asking our community and local businesses to be creative by making and displaying hot air balloon images on the weekend of June 5, 6 and 7th.
The Balloons can be drawings, paintings, 3 dimensional outdoor or indoor art forms…the sky's the limit. They just need to be visible from the street so the judges can see them. Get the family involved, think about your favorite balloons and just CREATE! Balloon art should be displayed the full Balloon Festival weekend. Judging of the balloon art will take place Friday June 5th. Please email or FB Message your address if you would like your art to be judged by our panel of balloon experts! Prizes will be given for Best Business and Best Residential display.
