May 20, 2020, 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM...Increase your knowledge of electric vehicles (EV) and consider an EV for future car purchases. Please preregister to receive information to join this free webinar at https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/2060805154750527502
EVs cost less to operate. Vermont's current incentive program offers up to $5,000 toward an EV purchase. If you are a Washington Electric Coop customer and charge your EVs at home, your EV would run on 100% renewable energy. EVs reduce fossil fuel use in transportation, the primary fuel use in contributing to Vermont's greenhouse gas generation.
Drive Electric Vermont and Waterbury LEAP are hosting the webinar. The webinar will cover:
o What to keep in mind if you're considering switching to an EV from a gas-powered car.
o Types of EVs available in Vermont (including recently introduced models)
o Different ways to charge an EV and current charging options
o Incentives for buying an EV
o Hear from Vermonters who've made the switch to an EV.
