Dear fellow Charlotters,
During this time of social, i.e. physical, distancing, I'm inviting you to participate in a virtual Town Hall meeting with me, your State Rep, on Friday, May 1, at 6:00 p.m. This will be an opportunity to not only voice your concerns and ask questions about your interactions with state government in light of our current situation, but it can also be an opportunity to meet some of your neighbors that you might not meet otherwise. We'll be using Zoom, which has video for people logging on with their computers or smartphones, or you can call in from a regular phone.
To ensure a secure venue, I am asking you to email me (myantachka.dfa@gmail.com) if you are interested in attending, and I will send you the meeting information. Please put TOWN HALL in the subject line and include your name and, if you plan to call in, your phone number. My intention is to keep it to a manageable number of participants so that everyone has a chance to contribute. If we have an overflow, I'll schedule a second opportunity for the overflow folks on the weekend. I look forward to seeing you on Zoom.
Your Rep,
Mike Yantachka
