Everyone has their own story and you are invited to tell yours!
On Saturday, April 11th at 7 pm tune in to the first-ever Lamoille Valley Speaks Story Hour live online! Fans of The Moth will want to listen as Lamoille Valley Speaks teams up with NVU and River Arts to continue on with the event, which began in February when Johnson Speaks was hosted at the Johnson Studio Store's new gallery space. Now, in this uncertain time of social distancing, our need for sharing stories has grown even stronger.
If you are interested in telling a story, please email Shayne at shaynewspence@gmail.com with an outline of your story. The best stories are 5-7 minutes long and told from your own life experience with no notes. This is a family- and community-friendly event, so keep that in mind when developing your stories! This will be streaming live so you will need to be able to have a webcam and an internet connection to participate. We will be available to help with any technical concerns.
Send your submissions to Shayne by Thursday, April 9th. We look forward to hearing your voice.
