The Songwriting monthly series with the McHughs will be taking place Monday, February 17th from 6-8 pm in the Steele Community Room, next to the library. All are welcome to join our group, whether you've penned a song or perhaps are just thinking about this art form. It is a safe place to bring your ideas and your musical instrument if you'd like to share. We will have a keyboard and mic as well. Pat and Alison McHugh have been collaborating together as songwriters and musicians for over 25 years, and have a passion for songwriting and sharing their expertise. Both are seasoned musicians: Pat a drummer and guitarist, Alison a pianist and singer. Basic elements of songwriting are covered, and fun group exercises that benefit everyone's skillset are offered.
