Celebrate President's Day long weekend with the Taste Place and the Vermont Cidermaker's Association. We have assembled 6 different cider makers using heritage apples in homage to our Vermont terroir. Cidermakers include Champlain Orchards, Windfall Orchards, Eden Ciders, Tin Hat, Flag Hill Farm and Silo. At the Taste Place we love pairing things so we have also invited our friends from Spring Brooks Farms to melt some Raclette cheese, our friends at von Trapp Farmstead with their cheeses and Ploughman's salami (made with cider!) and our friends at Shelburne Farms, because what could possibly be a better match for apples than cheddar? Adam from Eden Ciders will also be doing brief breakout educational sessions to talk about heritage apples and cidermaking. See you on Saturday!
