The E. Montpelier and Calais Historical Societies will meet on Monday, February 17 (also Presidents Day and a federal holiday) with a potluck supper starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Brick Church in E. Montpelier Village. The program will be at 7:00 with Lyn Blackwell of E. Montpelier speaking about "A Small Crumb of Justice Denied:The Struggle for Woman Suffrage in Vermont." This year is the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote in the USA. The evening event is free and open to the public. If you can attend the supper, please bring a dish to share and your own place setting. Coffee, tea and cocoa will be provided. We hope to see you there!
