"HOW TO WEED YOUR ATTIC: GETTING RID OF JUNK WITHOUT DESTROYING HISTORY"
In this presentation, Elizabeth Dow Ph.D. and Lucinda Cockrell MA., both archivists, will strive to give you the confidence to clean out your attic – or office, garage, basement, cupboards – knowing that you're not tossing out historically valuable (or invaluable) things, and that you will not ask your local museum to take things that really belong in a thrift store, junk yard, or recycle center. This is the sixth in the Winter Series lectures sponsored by the Lamoille Valley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and will be on Wednesday February 12 at the Commodores Inn, 823 S. Main Street, Stowe. Lectures start promptly at 1:30 p.m. There is a $7 fee for non-members.
