If genealogy shows like "Who Do You Think You Are?" have rekindled an interest in your family's history join us at the VT Genealogy Library on Saturday, February 1st, to begin your quest. Lynn Johnson will discuss best practices for sound research and how to avoid mistakes that can lead you astray. She will go over where to find records, and how to start organizing what you find. Bring as much information as you can about your grandparents' births, marriages, deaths as well as where they lived. After the talk our volunteers can help you get started using our many resources.
The class fee is $10 and it allows visitors all-day use of our library's 7 online databases (Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast, etc) & our 4500 books. So attend a great class, have lunch in our break room and then get started finding your ancestors with the resources & experts at the VT Genealogy Library.
