Annie Sloan Chalk Paint 101 classes will be held on:
Saturday, February 8 from 10:00 - 12:00 OR
Wednesday, February 12, from 3:00-5:00 at
Shiny Sisters, 76 W. Main St., Cambridge, NY.
In this beginning class, you will learn how to use Annie Sloan chalk paint to paint three pieces with different finishes; you will learn how to create texture, do country two color rustic finishes, as well as smooth modern finishing.
Class price is $95 per person, and includes all supplies and materials that you will need for the class, including the three plaques that you will paint and take home with you.
Chalk paint 101 is a prerequisite for further classes including 102:The Next Step, where you learn a variety of techniques; Keep the Piece; and one I'm particularly interested in, Layered Effects, on how to do multi-color blending!
There are many more classes, these are just a sampling.
Annie Sloan can be used on a variety of materials and surfaces including wood, metal, glass and fabric.
