Thank you to all who have been dropping in and signing up for class series during these short and cold days of January. The light is coming back and I have another movement opportunity for you!
I am teaching a drop-in Pilates for Buff Bones® class on Tuesday at Shelburne Community Movement. If you're not sure this class is for you, this is a great time to come experience it without the commitment of joining a series. I love this work as it offers a hybrid of Pilates mat exercises with standing work using light weights to challenge strength, balance and posture. It's safe for people with low bone density or osteoporosis because we don't work in flexion during this class but there is still plenty of challenge for everyone. There's abdominal, hip, back, arm strengthening, alignment, breathing and plenty of squats!
