Plan now to attend the 6th Champlain Islands Empty Bowls Dinner, February 1, 2020, 4-6:30 at the Grand Isle School. Warm up, get rid of that cabin fever, enjoy hot soup, mac and cheese, and catch up with your neighbors. Take home your soup bowl, locally hand crafted, probably by someone you know. Buy a raffle ticket to win the local goods or services you have always wanted.

Did you know that 1 out of 9 children in Grand Isle County lives with food insecurity? All money raised will support our local organizations (CIDER, Food for Thought, Champlain Islands Food Shelf), organizations committed to assuring food that all Islanders have sufficient food.

Local businesses sponsoring the Empty Bowls Dinner include: Cedar Ledge Builders, Champagne Real Estate, Coldwell Banker Islands Realty, Community Bank N.A., Island Excavating, Ladd's Landing Marina and Northland Boat Shop, Lake Champlain Ferries, Mama's Gardens, and those who contribute the numerous raffle gifts, delicious soups and breads.
