Pine Street Jazz -- a six-piece instrumental ensemble with members from Winooski, Burlington, and beyond -- will perform as part of the Martin Luther King Day event at the Winooski Senior Center at 5:00 PM on Monday, January 20. The group will play a full set of swinging music as a prelude to the Harlem Renaissance Illustrated Jazz Lecture presented by William Tortolano, Professor Emeritus of Fine Arts at St. Michael's College. Join us for a celebration of African-American community, creativity, and culture and in honor of Dr. King.

The Senior Center is located at 123 Barlow Street (next to Saint Stephen Church). This event is free and open to all. Appetizers and refreshments will be served too!
