Food and Food for Thought at the Mount Mansfield Union High School will give us information and ideas on a topic bound to affect us all: this year's energy proposals in the Vermont Legislature. Hear from some energy policy specialists and share ideas on the pros and cons of an electric economy and phasing out of other traditional heating and transportation fuels. If you drive a vehicle or pay taxes or heat your dinner, you're affected. Average Vermonters need to speak their piece, not just the usual policymakers in Montpelier. Good conversation, information, and understandings make for good solutions to the challenges near at hand.
