Join hundreds of Vermonters at a State House Homeless Awareness and Memorial Day Rally on Wednesday, January 15th at 12 NOON in front of the Vermont State House with signs! The whole day at the State House will start with free coffee and muffins in the cafeteria, a chance to talk with your representatives and hand outs about housing bills addressing the issue.

You are invited to sit in on committees discussing homelessness in Vemont and to learn of other advocacy opportunities during the legislative session. There will be speeches at the outside rally and a resolution honoring the day in the House/Senate Chambers. Come to support our neighbors and friends who are currently homeless and learn about the many reasons, including income inequality, opiate addiction, mental illness, sickness, job terminations and evictions leaving folks temporarily homeless! There but for the grace of God, go I.
