GMYS was founded to provide young musicians of Central Vermont with the opportunity to play and perform orchestral music in their own community with their peers. For 18 years, GMYS has offered a rich musical experience where children can pursue their interests and talents, find a vehicle for self-expression, and learn teamwork. GMYS now includes close to 100 young musicians from 30 towns throughout Vermont and New Hampshire and always has room for more.
