In July, a program called The Hitching Post set up formalized hitchhiking/ride sharing between cafés in Worcester and Montpelier. Now they are expanding to Putnamville, Northfield, Red Hen Bakery in Middlesex, and Hunger Mountain Co-op. Program founder Phoenix Mitchell discusses their success so far and why they're expanding.
