Bristol Safe Routes and their community partners announce our next WALK-N-ROLL TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAY - Nov 13th. Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is a comprehensive program based on a simple premise: our kids should be able to safely walk and bike to school. Walking and biking to school helps students develop independence, improves academic performance, helps reduce traffic congestion and air pollution, and helps create a stronger community. In Bristol, our WALK-N-ROLL TO SCHOOL WEDNESDAYS happen the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Learn more at: https://saferoutes.vermont.gov. We will put out our plastic lawn signs on the Monday before the event, and take them down on Wednesday after the event. Big thanks to Bristol Police Department, Bristol CORE, Bristol Recreation Department, Friends of BES and Walk-Bike Council of Addison County for partnering with Bristol Safe Routes.
