Join me at GRACE in Hardwick for an immersive class in Coptic book-binding. REGISTRATION CLOSES 11/12!
This is going to be a super fun class, and you will leave with a beautiful, handmade book along with a wealth of knowledge. Please note that the class is two parts and you will need to attend both Tuesday and Thursday. $40 for both nights + $10 in material fees (this is discounted from my true cost by GRACE). Scholarships are available as well!

In Coptic Bookbinding, participants will learn the whole process- from start to finish- to create a unique art journal. We will select beautiful handmade papers for the hardbound covers, and sew the open-spine binding using a traditional paired needle Coptic binding technique. This form of Coptic binding creates a lovely chain stitch at every sewing station and results in a structurally strong book with high-quality mixed-media pages for writing, drawing, doodling, or whatever your heart desires!
