Coming up Thursday on Goddard College Community Radio - J.C. Myers talks about his recently published novel and upcoming play, and we remember herbalist Annie McCleary.
9:00 - 10:00 am
J.C. Myers will come into the studio to talk about his novel, Junkyard at No Town, which "captures rural Vermont's land, language, and culture in outrageous and vernacular-rich dialogue, combined with crazy and splendid plot twists and descriptions." Plus he has a play in production at Goddard College's Haybarn Theater.
Friends of recently departed herbalist Annie McCleary remember her life, with words and music. Angella Gibbons, Fred Cheyette, and Maia Mencucci reminisce about her life and death, with music from Maia and Kaylan Mencucci.
10:00 - 10:30 am
Resilience Thoughts, a locally told Extempo story, plus upcoming events related to energy, food, and the local economy at the end of the age of oil.
