The best way to stay vibrant and healthy is to keep moving! This class is ideal for people who take joy in exploring fun and creative ways to move the body through balancing, stretching, and mindfully challenging our muscles. Students will gain strength, improve posture and balance, maintain hand-eye coordination, increase flexibility, and develop improved overall body awareness. It is a manageable moderate level class. Poses and sequences are explained and demonstrated with a range of challenge options from gentle to "spicy". We will also challenge ourselves to do repetitions of strength-building exercises. Students should be able to shift comfortably between sitting and standing. Mats, blocks, bolsters, and straps are provided, and their use is encouraged.
