Schumann Concert and Dinner at SVA

Schumann’s “Woman’s love and life” (Frauenliebe und Leben) is one of the most celebrated Song Cycles by a classical composer in the history of western music. And this is one of the very few times that choreography has been set to the full cycle of romantic songs.

Saturday, Nov 2nd, starting at 6 pm
Stone Valley Arts, 145 E. Main St. Poultney VT

The dinner will start w/ appetizers to include artisan cheeses and wine, followed by the main course of Coq au Vin
and ending w/ assorted homemade desserts with tea or coffee.

This special event is a fundraiser for Stone Valley Arts.
100% of the proceeds benefit SVA renovation and preservation work of the historic stone building by raising matching funds for a Vermont Arts Council Cultural Facilities Grant to be used for electrical upgrades throughout the building.
