Cider Pressing Open House

Fall is in full swing and the trees are loaded with apples! Brookfield Bees will be holding a cider pressing Open House on Sunday October 13 and Monday October 14 (Columbus Day) from 11-3pm. Come see our operation; we will be grinding and pressing apples, as well as boiling cider on our maple syrup evaporator to make boiled cider, an apple cider reduction. Apples are collected from many different neighborhood trees, most of unknown variety for a more complex cider taste. Free cider tasting and cider treats will be available. Unpasteurized cider and boiled cider will be available for purchase, and if you bring your carboy, we can fill it at a reduced price. Gallons $7; Half gallons $4; 5 gallon carboy $25.
