'Pilgrims of Woodstock' at the Joslin

Past event
Oct 12, 2019, 1 to 3 PM

Join us at the Joslin Memorial Library for a presentation by author John Kane on his new book 'Pilgrims Of Woodstock', a book which offers a vivid and intimate portrait of the overlooked stars of the festival: the everyday people who made Woodstock unforgettable. The photographs and interviews capture attendees' profound personal moments across hundreds of acres of farmland, as they meditated, played music, cooked food at night, and congregated around campfires. For three days they helped and relied on each other in peace and harmony. For most, it was a life-changing event. Maybe you were there? Maybe you know somebody who was there? If so please come & share stories of this important cultural event. this event is FREE to the public.
