At Kids Nature Connection on Oct 12 from 9am-12pm, children aged 5-10 are invited to discover animal tracks and signs, explore edible plants, work on building a natural shelter, whittle, and play in the woods! Led by educator, counselor, and Pathfinders Nature Connection founder Per Eisenman, children will connect with nature, gaining a sense of calm and promoting their curiosity and exploration.
Parents are welcome to stay and participate.
Bring a snack, water bottle, whittling knife, and nature journal if you have one. Park at Champlain Valley Cohousing, 27 Common Way in Charlotte, near the yurt. We'll head into the woods about 9:30 a.m. Free. Younger siblings welcome with parent. RSVP to juliamariescott@gmail.com as space is limited.
