"OWLS OF VERMONT"
Bridget Butler, AKA The Bird Diva, is this week's presenter. Who hasn't paused to listen to the haunting "hoot" of an owl in the evening? There are ten different species of owls in our state and you will learn how and when to look for them. Bridget will teach us to recognize the calls of our most common species and also to be able to hoot in response. Find out why these birds are so amazing and what you can do to keep owls a part of the Vermont Landscape. This is the fourth of nine Fall Series lectures sponsored by the Lamoille Valley Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and will be on Wednesday Sept. 25 at the Commodores Inn, 823 S. Main Street, Stowe. Sessions start promptly at 1:30 p.m. There is a $5 fee for non-members.
