Pine Island Community Farm, Vermont Land Trust, and the Intervale Center invite you to be part of our Harvest Celebration!
Join us at this unique farm in Colchester at 1029 Pine Island Road for a garden tour and tastings, traditional foods, live music, and more! You'll also have the opportunity to chat with the New Americans — including Chuda Bhutali and Theogene Mahoro — who farm there.
Parking is available along Pine Island Road, but please consider carpooling or riding your bike.
A VLT project, Pine Island is a collaborative farm where New Americans produce traditional foods. A Bhutanese-American farm family raise goats and a farm family originally from Rwanda raise chickens for sale. In addition, 60 families from over 10 countries use the seven-acre community gardens.
