Cocktail Walk in Burlington Tuesday April 1, 5-7pm!

Please join me for an exploration of Vermont cocktails at three downtown restaurants next week. We'll hear from the producers and bartenders and have the opportunity to enjoy some special drinks and appetizers.

You'll meet three pioneers in Vermont's craft cocktail movement. Duncan Holaday, Vermont's first distiller and a genuinely interesting guy will be discussing his rum. Urban Moonshine--Burlington's own bitters--will be talking tinctures. And finally Vermont Switchel (ever had it in a cocktail!?) will be helping us bring back haymaker's punch.

Bluebird Tavern, Juniper, and Church & Main will be creating memorable cocktails featuring Duncan's array of (really impressive) rums, urban moonshine bitters, and Vermont Switchel. Plenty to learn, and plenty to taste, drink, and eat.
