Nourishing Democracy Part Deux

Past event
Sep 11, 2019, 5:30 to 7:30 PM

In July Indivisible Mad River Valley (IMRV) hosted a pot luck event called Nourishing Democracy in the Pavilion at Lareau Farm. IMRV hoped for 30 locals, dreamed of 50 - but 70 came with their delicious dishes and hearts open to conversation around shared values.

What we learned didn't surprise us, our Valley community members are anxious about (1) Climate Change, (2) Human Rights (3) Social Justice and (4) Election Fairness and want to know what they can do.

So. . . IMRV is hosting a second event - Nourishing Democracy Part Deux! Instead of a pot luck, we're asking neighbors to bring an appetizer/finger food. This allows us to eat while we roam and chat with several groups who will be on hand who share your same values. Each group will have an ACTion suggestion. Each group has a direct connection to the four issues mentioned above.

Amazing appetizers, Concrete actions and Tantalizing discussion. That spells ACT. Please join us and take a step towards Nourishing your Democracy.
