Swanton Arts Council is proud to bring to you Corrina Thurston Studios with a beginner colored pencil class on August 29, 2019 at the Swanton Public Library 5:30p-8:30p.
This is a three-hour class teaching the basics of drawing with colored pencil in an opaque and realistic style.
You will discuss and practice techniques like:
-creating shine
-creating texture
-layering
-getting vibrant
-opaque colors
-etching details with an x-acto knife
-blending and more!
You will practice drawing a few different small items each participant will walk away with the basic skills to create a full, vibrant colored pencil drawing and the pencils to do it with!
