Beg, Steal or Borrow returns to the Tuesday Night Live Outdoor Stage at the Legion Field, School Street, Johnson on August 13th from 6 PM to 8:30 PM.

Beg, Steal or Borrow is a bluegrass band with a solid repertoire of original music. The local musicians are Geoff Goodhue, Luke Auriemmo, Roland Clark, Jeremy Sicely and Fran Forim. This will be their fifth visit to Tuesday Night Live since they first performed here in 2013.

Vendors will provide tasty treats. Papa Gyros Authentic Greek Food, Mediterranean Mix, Northern Fire & Slice Pizza, Taco Truck All Stars, Himalayan Nepali Food, Omakase Sushi, Green Mountain Kettle Corn, Kingdom Creamery, and Maple Cotton Candy. Bring your appetites, your dinner plates and/or reusable containers for take-out or a picnic on the field.

The Johnson Historical Society offers slices of homemade pie with fresh fruit like apple, apricot, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, strawberry and combinations of fruit. There will be variations of chocolate or maple pies baked fresh by the 20 plus volunteers who know how to make a great pie. For those who prefer cake, there is Alice's German chocolate
cake, scrumptious! Stop by early for the best selection.

The Conservation Commission will have their exhibit of bones and feathers along with wildlife experts Noel Dodge and Dean Locke. Next to them you will find Casey Romero rolling along with news from the Johnson Sk8Park.

Parking is along School Street, in the Elementary School Parking lot, Beards Recreation Park, and at the McClelland Building lot on College Hill. Summer showers may dampen the enthusiasm for a few minutes; but it is lightning and thunder that cancels the event. Info at 730-2943.

Tuesday Night Live is free thanks to the support of local businesses and organizations: Butternut Mountain Farm, Carrie Cook Design, Concept II, Downtown Pizzeria, Fern Hill Massage, Foote Brook Farm, The Forget Me Not Shop, Green Mountain Massage School, Johnson Hardware & Rental, and Johnson Works. Also Laraway Youth and Family Services, Lost Nation Brewing, Polow & Polow, Red House, Rock Art Brewery, Sterling Market, The Studio Store, Vermont Studio Center, and Whittemore Rental Properties.
