Next Sunday there will be a coaching clinic at the Skatepark: Basic Bike Skills on the new Mountain Bike Terrain. It's open to all ages, from 9 a.m. to noon, but youth under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Everyone should bring a bike, no matter what kind or what shape it's in. The clinic will include some time at the new Bike Repair stand, and we do have a few loaner bikes available. Cost is a suggested $5 donation. More details will be posted on Front Porch Forum, and the Park's Facebook page, Johnson Skatepark & Bike Track. The Committee also wants to remind everyone that the SkatePark will be closed for public use between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week (8/5-8/9). Skate The Arts Camp will be held at the Park during those hours.
