The Stowe Jewish Film Festival presents Chewdaism: A Taste of Jewish Montreal, Wednesday evening, August 7, 7:00 pm, at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe. Eli Batalion, one of the stars, will be joining us for the screening.

Chewdaism: A Taste of Jewish Montreal invites us on a hilarious romp through Montreal's Jewish food culture. Canadian funnymen and best friends Eli Batalion and Jamie Elman return to their hometown of Montreal to explore their heritage by eating their way across the city. They seek out the best Jewish eateries Montreal offers, unlocking Montreal's intriguing past and marveling at its vibrant present and future.

Tickets are $10 in advance (https://www.sprucepeakarts.org/events/) and $15 at the door.

Doors open at 6 pm and light refreshments will be served.
