We are planning another Wild Parsnip pull. This one is a follow-up in the Morse Park Pavilion / sports field / parking lot area. We'll be trying to clean up those plants which have sprouted since our earlier round this summer. One last clean-up before the Monkton Community Day later in August.

Wear long pants, a long sleeved shirt, and bring gloves. We'll have a number of the Parsnip Predator shovels to try out, or bring your own favorite shovel. We also may be clipping some of the seed heads & flowers for disposal, rather than hauling the whole plants to the disposal site. If you have some clippers, bring them along. If you have not done much of this before no worries, it's not difficult and we'll be happy to show you how.
