Join us on Monday August 5th at 9:30 pm at the Doda's home at 1100 Stone Road for our second monthly guided tours of the summer sky with Donald Cameron, our local astronomy aficionado. We will look at the Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and take a tour of the major stars and major constellations along with a bit of mythology behind the stars and constellations. Attendees are welcome to bring binoculars, blankets/towels and/or lounge chairs for viewing. The Doda's home is about 1mile north of the Old Town Hall, and the driveway entrance is diagonally across the street from Northfield Road intersection. Park at the driveway entrance and hike up, or at the top of the driveway near the house. This is a BYOB event, and we recommend bringing lawn chairs or a blanket, bug spray, and your star gazing curiosity. Cookies and lemonade will be served.
