The UU Society of Hartland, Vermont, founded in 1802, is a friendly and energetic Unitarian Universalist Church community. Love is the doctrine of this church, the quest for for truth its sacrament, and service its prayer. Our mission is to build connections, to search for truth and meaning, and to strengthen community in our region and the wider world.
This Sunday, July 28, Rev. Paul Sawyer will respond to your questions as best he can with the limited time available. We'll also offer a send-off blessing for the youth and adults leaving after the service for the annual Youth Mission Trip.
The collection this week will support Combatants for Peace, which was founded in 2006 by Israeli and Palestinian veterans who had previously been combatants on both sides of the long-standing Israel-Palestine conflict.
This egalitarian, bi-national, grassroots organization was founded on the belief that the cycle of violence can only be broken when Israelis and Palestinians join forces.
Please join us for worship and religious education for children on each Sunday beginning at 9:55 am. Free and open coffee hour immediately following the service.
We are located at 8 Brownsville Rd, (next to Skunk Hollow Tavern), just off Rt 12 in Hartland Four Corners.
