Greetings Neighbors,
High summer greetings from the farm. The generous and continued rains have blessed the fields with lush mid-summer grass, and these cooling evenings offer the cows and sheep a welcome respite from the fly-bothered heat of the day.
You may have received the invitation to, or even attended the first Town Hall Community Feast last November. It was a joyful evening. More are in the planning for this fall/winter/spring season. The date for the first dinner is set now for Sunday 10/20. More details and invitations for ways to get involved with the preparations will be sent out.
In the meantime, we are hosting monthly work days, followed by potluck dinners, as a way to help us keep up with the work, but also to stay connected with our friends and neighbors. The last Sunday of each month (7/28, 8/25, 9/29). Please join us when you can!
