Take a stroll through the meadows and edgelands of the VCIH grounds to learn about some locally abundant herbal allies. We will discuss their growing habits and medicinal properties, and explore the power of apple cider vinegar to create our own custom herbal infusions. Infusing herbs in vinegar is a versatile way to capture the essence of the season. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the medicine growing in their own backyards, as well as their very own jar of herbal vinegar. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a glass pint jar if possible.
