Eat Up Fundraiser for Central Vermont Pioneers

Past event
Jun 30, 2019, 4 to 9 PM

Please join us on the green space at Camp Meade (961 Route 2, behind the Red Hen Bakery & Cafe) for a fundraiser benefiting the Central Vermont Pioneers sled hockey team. If you are unfamiliar with sled hockey, it was invented in Stockholm at a rehabilitation center by a group of Swedes who did not want their physical disability to keep them from playing hockey. It has since spread throughout the world and is enjoyed in the U.S. from the local level all the way to the National Sled Team that competes in the Paralympics. Village Grocery will be providing delicious tacos (meat and vegetarian options available) and all proceeds will benefit the Pioneers. Enjoy artisan ice cream from Kingdom Creamery, made with the highest quality milk from their family-owned farm. Live music from Al's Pals, a group of all-stars from the Mad River Valley. Grab your dancing shoes for this 6-piece band featuring members of the Seth Yacovone Band, Sabouyouma, The Renegade Groove and more!
