Brahms Requiem (Participate or Simply Attend!)

Past event
Jan 25, 2025, 2 to 9 PM

I am excited to be the Chorus Master for next weekend's Brahms Requiem performance for California wildfire relief on Saturday, January 25th at the Elley Long Music Center. The beneficiary will be the Red Cross.

If you've never worked on a Green Mtn Mahler Festival event, they are a fantastic organization with a philanthropic mission. We'll be rehearsing the piece during the day (starting at 2:30pm) with an evening performance at 7:30pm.

All are welcome but you must register through the link below. I'd love to have you sing in the chorus and spend the afternoon with me, but Dan Bruce is our orchestra conductor and is also looking for some players.

All strings and choristers are welcome and encouraged to participate. Winds/brass: we will figure this out once everyone has registered and get back to you right away. ALL participants must register on the GMMF website at https://www.vtmahler.org/
Information on music download and on tickets will also be on the website.

This will be a one-day event with rehearsals in the afternoon and performance in the evening, all at Elley Long in Colchester. Please plan accordingly as it will be a long day.

Not interested in performing but still want to attend? Click the link above for ticket information or donation links, and help support the families affected by the California wild fires.

Please see the link above for more details: music downloads, full schedule, tickets, and registration.
I hope to see you there!
