Past event
Jul 6, 2019, 8 to 11 AM

Come join the Williston Master Naturalist bird walk on Saturday July 6th from 8-11 am at the Oak View Hill Trail. This is the third walk this season, each at a different town owned property. Highlights of this trail include a beautiful small pond and a small wooded knoll from which you can see wonderful views of Bolton Valley, Mount Mansfield, and Camel's Hump to the east. Views from the west include Lake Champlain, Shelburne Pond, Brownell Mountain, and the New York Adirondacks. Bring binoculars, water, bug dope, snack and good boots.

I am looking for volunteers to lead a few bird walks this summer/fall so let me know if you are interested. It's lots of fun and you get to meet some great folks.

Directions to the trail head are; from the 4-way stop in Williston Village Center, go south on Oak Hill Road. The trailhead parking area is on the west (right) side of Oak Hill Road, approximately 3 miles from the 4-way stop.

RSVP to tgmarron@comcast.net. Happy summer and happy birding!
