Reminder - Thursday evening at the Woodbury Town Hall: Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) and Vermont Association for Mental Health and Addiction Recovery (VAMHAR) are hosting a Mental Health Forum on Thursday June 13th from 6-8:00pm at the Woodbury Town Hall. WCMHS and VAMHAR held three forums in 2017 in Montpelier, Northfield and Waitsfield and two forums in 2018 in Plainfield and Waterbury. They were all successful events with meaningful discussions between panelist and audience members. For each forum, a panel of 5 or 6 professionals and individuals with lived experience with these challenges are asked questions by a moderator to spark conversation, and the forums unfold from there. The purpose of the forums is to promote a conversation with area community members around the mental health, developmental and substance services in your community and to identify where gaps may exist. The conversations include education, social services, health care, and other aspects of community life, and people are invited to share honestly and listen with open ears. We hope to see you there!
