The City of Burlington and the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC), with assistance from Resource Systems Group (RSG), are looking at ways to make this important roadway safe, inviting, and convenient for users of all ages and abilities -- including motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, and public transportation riders. We are studying the entire length of Winooski Avenue, from the intersection with Riverside Avenue to the intersection of Howard Street (at St. Paul Street), but we can't do it alone -- we need your help!
Please join us at a public open house on Tuesday, June 4 at the Old North End Community Center (20 Allen Street) to review initial concept ideas in a casual format. The project team will give a short presentation at 6 p.m. but you're welcome to come by anytime between 5:30 - 8 p.m. and discuss the draft concepts with neighbors and the project team. Interpreters can be available if requested by Friday, May 31 to bdavis@ccrpcvt.org.
You can also take an online survey to provide input into the draft alternatives: https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4987624/WinooskiAve-Alts
