The Williston in Bloom committee is seeking volunteers for two upcoming flower planting events:
Saturday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. to plant flower beds in the village.
Monday, June 3rd at 4:00 p.m. to plant hanging baskets.

The first event will be held on Saturday, June 1st at 10:00. We will meet outside of the Town Hall/Public Works buildings. Flowers will be planted in the flower beds in the Village (around the Town Hall, band stand, and three beds along Rt 2 in front of the bandstand area).. The flower beds were prepared for planting a few weeks ago, and now the flowers are here ready to plant. Planting is expected to take approximately two hours.

The second planting session will be to plant the 19 large hanging baskets that are placed around town. This session will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 4:00 at Gardener's Supply in Williston. We will meet in the hoop house behind the outlet sale tent. This also is expected to take about two hours.

Volunteers may show up for either session or both. Bring along garden gloves and a hand trowel. All help is welcome for these fun gardening events!
