This past December the Town of South Hero received a Municipal Planning Grant from the VT Agency of Commerce and Community Development to conduct a feasibility study to help plan the future of the Town-owned Old White Meeting House, affectionately known as Grannies Attic. The Select Board appointed an Outreach Committee composed of community members to oversee the project.

The scope of the project includes a community survey to solicit feedback on potential uses of the building. Many folks in the community have not had the chance to see the ground floor of the building since it had been occupied with Fire Department trucks. Now that the fire trucks are gone the community can view this area at the Kick-Off of the Survey Questionnaire on Thursday, May 30th 5:30-6:30 PM at the Old White Meeting House on Route 2. Pickup your survey questionnaire and share your vision for future use of this historic building. The Scouts will be on hand selling hotdogs as a fund-raiser.
