If you ever thought whitewater kayaking (or canoeing) looked like fun, sign up NOW for the Vermont Paddlers Club Novice Clinic, COMING UP THIS WEEKEND, June 1 & 2. This once-per-year clinic - for those with little or no whitewater experience - starts with some basic flatwater and safety instruction at Waterbury Reservoir and then moves to a local class II (novice WW) river, where the real fun begins! Lunch is provided both Saturday and Sunday. The VPC can set you up with whatever equipment you'll need. The cost is $90 for this 2 day event.
