The Vermont GOP has invited former Governor of Wisconsin, Scott Walker, to our state on May 30th. Walker will go down in infamy for busting public and private sector unions in Wisconsin and impoverishing all workers in the process.
Wisconsin Rising, a film by Sam Mayfield, chronicles workers' resistance to Walker and big money interests. What did the people of Wisconsin do in the face of his attack? How did the citizens rebuild and reorganize, and what can we learn from their actions?
Come watch the film on May 22nd to find out! Then join the picket called by unions and progressive organizations against Walker's visit on May 30th at 5:30pm at the Burlington Hilton.
