Come join the Trails Committee for some fresh air and exercise on the HART Trails here in town. Saturday, June 1st is National Trails Day when volunteers all over the Northeast help clean up paths and trails from winter damage, and make repairs and improvements.

We will meet at 9:00 a.m. in the Town Hall parking lot to assign work crews, head out for a few hours of trail maintenance, then meet back at Town Hall for pizza and bragging. Bring heavy gloves, water and bug spray, and wear appropriate work clothes. Also, if you have any tools, such as loppers or hand saws, please bring them. We have a few extra items but want to make sure everyone has something to work with.

Please notify Lenore Budd at buddfamily@gmavt.net if you think you might join us. It helps us make sure there are activities and equipment for everyone and it gives us the chance to alert you if the weather is bad enough to cancel.
