Roots is a fundraiser presented by Cork, Strawberry Hill Farm, & Woodbelly Pizza, with the goal of 100% of proceeds from ticket sales going to the Vermont Foodbank’s “Vermonters Feeding Vermonters” program. After a successful inaugural event in 2018, we aim to surpass last year’s total amount raised of $62,000. Roots is a walk around tasting event / cocktail party at Strawberry Hill Farm, featuring natural wines from Cork, beer & cider from breweries around Stowe, and hors d’oeuvres from some of the best restaurants and food producers in the area, plus a whole pig roast by Woodbelly Pizza. Roots is a zero waste event with no plates, cutlery, napkins or disposable cups. Each ticket holder will receive a glass for drinking & a dish towel to use as a napkin, along with a goody bag stuff with products from Skida, Ursa Major, and more. Tickets are $125 each, and can be purchased at https://sevendaystickets.com/events/roots-2019/tickets. There are a limited number available, and tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.
